Course Description

Due to the fast advancement in ship building technology versus the competitively of ports, it was decided to carry out a training and research study on the new breed of container ships.

The model is the CMA CGM 400 metres built in the Hyundai Ship Yards, South Korea. With a total load of 16,700 TEU’s, the vessel challenges all and sundry, from Pilots to Tug Masters and Port infrastructures especially when severe meteorological conditions prevail.
